Troy, Mich., July 20, 2019 – The Marketing and Sales Executives of Detroit (MSE Detroit) is seeking nominations for its prestigious Platinum Awards, an award program honoring the outstanding accomplishments of marketing and sales professionals in southeastern Michigan.
Two Platinum Award winners will be honored at the MSE Detroit Evening of Excellence, which will take place on October 23 at The Gem Theatre in Detroit. Nominees do not have to be MSE Detroit members and the nominations can be made for an individual or a team. The nomination deadline is September 15.
“Marketing and sales professionals have a huge impact on the success of their industry,” said Dave Harries, event chairman, MSE Detroit and president of Spartan Marketing Services. “The Platinum Awards competition provides recipients with the opportunity to be acknowledged by their peers, as well as provides a platform to showcase their expertise.”
The Platinum Awards nomination form can be filled out online at http://www.msedetroit.org/Platinum. Nominees will be evaluated by MSE Detroit judges based on how they are helping their companies achieve critical business success by overcoming obstacles, creating new sales and marketing approaches, meeting company goals, impacting a business or industry, exhibiting exemplary teamwork or leadership and delivering significant accomplishments between Jan. 1, 2018 and July 31, 2019.
Judges, which will be made up of marketing and sales executives and past Platinum participants, will then select finalists based on qualifications, interviews and in-person presentations. The winners will be announced at MSE Detroit’s Evening of Excellence. They will also have the opportunity to present their stories at a future MSE Detroit dinner meeting.
Past Platinum Award winners include individuals or teams from organizations, such as SS Digital Media, DMCVB, Hella, MERA, Dow Automotive, Priority Health, Grede Holdings, SKF, Rehmann, The Pink Fund, and Reliance One.
At the event, MSE Detroit will also honor four Southeast Michigan business leaders with its Trailblazer, Executive Leadership and Lifetime Achievement Awards.
