Call for Nominations - 2017

 

Each year MSED honors sales and marketing excellence with its Platinum Awards. These awards recognize individuals in our field who have distinguished themselves by helping their companies achieve critical business success. We are now accepting nominations from MSED members and non-members alike.  We want to hear your story.  GOOD LUCK!


All Finalists will be recognized from the podium at the MSED Evening of Excellence in November. They will also have the opportunity to present their story at a future MSED dinner meeting.



How You Can Nominate a Team or Individual


STEP 1:  Nominations accepted through September 1, 2017.

Nominate yourself -- another individual – or a team

Nominations may include projects started or completed between January 1, 2015 and June 30, 2017

Nominees are encouraged to provide information in each segment of the criterion as opposed to combining one or more segments under one category. Be as complete as you can be in filling out the nomination form.

STEP 2:  Nominations reviewed by MSED Platinum Awards Selection Committee.

Nominations deemed to have met the award criteria will be deemed finalist and invited to make a presentation to a panel of Platinum Award Judges in mid-September.

  • What obstacles were overcome in order to achieve success?
  • What creative sale/marketing approaches were used?
  • What was the achieved business goal?
  • How did the achievement impact your business or industry?
  • How were exemplary teamwork and leadership exhibited?
  • Significance of the accomplishment; financial scope and magnitude.

STEP 3:  Finalists will present to the Selection Committee.

Judges on the Platinum Awards Panel are made up of Marketing and Sales executives and past Platinum recipients. The judges will make their final Platinum recommendations based on the mid-September presentaitons.  The two (2) finalists deemed to have best met the Platinum Award criteria will be announced at The Evening of Excellence in November.

It was such an honor to win and be a part of the MSED Platinum Award process.  It’s absolutely fantastic to be acknowledged by our peers for all the work that we did to represent and promote the mission of CPI to put veterans to work.  The award was and is an opportunity for us to showcase our talent and expertise to our clients and constituents.


However, I have also found that it’s just as important to be a part of an MSED, so that I might help other marketing and sales professionals along their path to excellence in their respective fields.


MSED provides so many amazing opportunities to interact with marketing and sales professionals from every career stage – from the novice all the way up to the C-Suite.  


MSED has a long history of promoting a desire for knowledge, professional growth, as well as a sense of community in Metro Detroit. I am very proud to be a part this group of hard working and dedicated sales and marketing professionals.
